‍♀️❄️‍♂️ 24-Hour ERGATHON for Amy Boe

Ski. Bike. Row. 24 Hours. Thousands of metres. One mission: HOPE.

On Saturday 28th June at 10am, we’re kicking off a 24-hour ERGATHON at Urban Fitness Alnwick to support one of the strongest, kindest, and most inspiring women we know — our very own Amy Boe.

For a full 24 hours — starting 10am on Saturday 28th June — we’ll keep at least one SkiErg, BikeErg and RowErg moving non-stop, aiming to cover enough distance to reach Frankfurt, Germany — the city offering Amy life-changing treatment.

Why we’re doing it:

“I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. I thought I was all clear, but after returning to the gym and developing back pain, I found out it had spread to my bones and liver. That pain probably saved my life. I discovered TACE treatment in Germany — it costs £5,000 per trip. It’s incurable but treatable. Dr. Vogl in Frankfurt gives people like me a chance, when there’s no hope left in the UK.” – Amy Boe

This challenge is about more than metres — it’s about hope, community, and standing beside someone who never stops fighting.

All money raised goes directly towards Amy’s treatment costs in Germany.

And we need YOU.

We’re inviting members, non-members, and anyone from the Alnwick community to join us — whether it’s for 5 minutes, 5 hours, or the full 24. Your energy, your support, your presence matters — especially through the unsociable hours when motivation is low and morale needs lifting.
