24-Hour Climb for Red

   Hello, my name is Makenzie Jessop. As many of you know, my uncle Tracy Jessop (better known by his friends as "Red") has been and continues to battle colon cancer, which has metastasized and spread into his hip bone, causing excruciating pain. While his prognosis is uncertain, Red is not going down without a fight. Friends, I ask that we show our support for Red by demonstrating that we see him, we are here for him, and we will continue to support his fight.

      To demonstrate my support to Red and his fight, on Wednesday, 04/09/2025, I will climb the newly constructed staircase on the west side of Tech Ridge, located at Tech Rdg Pkwy, St. George, UT 84770.

      For 24 hours straight, I will attempt to summit this staircase as many times as I can. Every time I successfully summit this staircase, it will represent each additional year that I believe and hope Red will live and continue to bring joy and happiness to both his family and friends.

      I will be posting updates on my Instagram story (@chill_young_man) and my Facebook account (Makenzie Jessop) throughout the 24-hour challenge.

      Any money given will allow Red and his family the peace of healing. Dealing with cancer is hard enough on its own. Financial restraints make it far more difficult. Any financial support is appreciated, and all proceeds will go to Reds' family. If you could share this event with others, I would greatly appreciate it. Anyone is welcome to come and join me to show your support for Red. I intend on starting this challenge at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, 04/09/2025, and will conclude on Thursday, 04/10/2025 at 3:30 pm.
