Down payment on our new appartment

Good evening, morning, tarrasquemas.

My name is Suzanne and I'm in a bit of a pickle. My husband and I are in need of $1000 in order to put the down payment on our new appartment by tomorrow.

"Why not get the money from your family or something?"

Good question reader, well, my family isn't able to loan me the grand I need at this time and it's the timing of this that's making it difficult.

"Why should I donate to you? Don't you have a job or something that can get you money?"

Myself, I am a freelance artist, and I Lyft (it's the same thing as Uber) for my main source of income. I live outside of Chicago, and it takes me 45 mins to get into the city where there are more people, and more money to make. My husband and I share a car, and with his work schedule I am not able to make it into the city most days, and so my paychecks from lyft usually don't break $200 on a good week. My husband works as a chef, and he makes a decent enough wage, but he has been the main source of income for us, and any bills or payments that need to go out, come out of his paycheck. We have been living paycheck to paycheck and a grand is just something we don't have at the moment.

I know that money is tight for everyone. I can't express how much I understand that, but I figure if everyone just gave $5 I'd only need 200 people to donate, 100 if eveyone gave $10!

I am more than willing to do art in exchange for the funds, but my Que is full, and that's another reason why I don't just open commissions... But I'm willing to work hard to earn your donations.
