I’m raising money for the York RI CIO, and any donation will help! If we raise £100k we can buy the building! This is a unique opportunity. I'd love to raise £1000 of that myself.

I have signed up for the badmintonathon taking place at the RI on August 3rd and I aim to play a game every hour for 24 hours. For every point scored against me in these 24 games I will personally donate 50p to this fundraiser that could rise to as much as £252 (£0.50 x 21 x 24 = £252). I am going to make a youtube video telling the story of my day and have something different planned for every hour.

I don't know if my body will survive, I am not exactly the fittest but I did recently manage 100 different holes of disc golf in 24 hours so I am feeling terrified but know it's possible. I promise to do my best.

It's hard to leave a legacy behind but I would be really proud if I could help keep the RI running for another 100 years. I've played at the York RI for over 15 years and I help run the Tuesday Thursday club there. It's a huge part of my life and it's how I try to give back. We need your support to buy this building and keep it going.
