"Boybaby" Smith's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
As many of you have already heard, Boybaby Smith passed away on May 14th. His wife Lorrie is doing well, considering the circumstances.
It was just over a month from the time Boybaby first went to the doctor until he left us. He was told his cancer was terminal just ten days before he passed away. This has been a very emotional and stressful time, as you can imagine. No family could be adequately prepared for what the Smith’s have gone through in such a short time.
Many of you have already been helping with food, lawn work, gathering eggs, feeding chickens and dogs, etc. Your help has been greatly needed and greatly appreciated, and will be for the immediate future.
Folks have asked what more can be done and several have said they would like to donate money to help defray funeral costs and incidental expenses. Lorrie has been off work these last few weeks without pay in order to take care of Boybaby and is facing a future of financially supporting herself as a widow. The Bible talks about taking care of orphans and widows so this is our chance to gather around Lorrie and be the hands and feet of Jesus. For those that would like to donate, I have set up this Go Fund Me account.
I am sure ya’ll will agree, Boybaby was a great man. He smiled often, helped people when he could and was a good husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved the Lord and was ready to go to be with Him. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Any donation, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated.
And please keep Lorrie and her family in your prayers.
