My big sister Lorna has been diagnosed with Severe Mitral Valve Regurgitation and needs Serious heart surgery.

You can imagine how worried and upset I’ve been. Lorna has been the best sister I could ever ask for - and has always been there to help me. Not only a great sister - but a wonderful mum to Talea and Chloe, and wife to Luke.

But now is not the time for me to get caught up in myself, my sister needs my support!

Lorna’s operation can be scheduled anytime over the coming weeks and she has been that it will be at least 6 to 8 weeks before she’ll be given the clear to return to work.

I’m concerned about the stress that Lorna is going through worrying about the financial strain this will put on her family. She doesn’t need to be worrying about that and just be able to focus on getting well after the operation.

So to take the pressure off Lorna and Luke I have made the decision to set up this GoFundMe page. To be honest, asking for help from others wasn’t the easiest decision to make especially as I am aware that it's not the best of times to be asking for financial help when I know others have their own families to support.

But please know that any bit of help that you can give will be appreciated by myself and even more appreciated by Lorna, Luke and their daughters Talea and Chloe.
