Michael Alpuche is a 37 year old father of a beautiful three year old. For the past 4 years he has been battling with different issues extending from a diagnosis given in 2015 that he had an enlarged heart( Dialated Cardiomyopathy) in an advanced stage. He has undergone surgery to have an ICD(Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) installed in his chest. On May 28th 2016 he was admitted to the ICU for a severely infected gallbladder but in the early hours of June 1st he went into Cardiac arrest and had to be air lifted to Mexico for medical assistance. Since then he has been in and out of the hospital sometimes a week at a time for different complications. Michael is on a regime of daily pills that has to be replenished monthly. The doctors have been trying to control the disease without any invasive surgery but it has come to a point where he needs Mitral Valve surgery.  The total cost of the surgery is $85,500 USD.
