Help Lehmann's Battle Leukemia Diagnosis
Donation protected
With no symptoms or indications of disease, our family was shocked to learn that David has acute lymoblastic leukemia, a very specific form of blood cancer. We were even more shocked to find out that just the initial theatment cycle of induction inpatient chemotherapy will likely last about 4-6 months with only a few days in between cycles to possibly return home, get a hotel or rent a location in Rochester. Costs of medical care will be exorbitant, but transportation costs for Sue to drive 3 hours per day to visit/care for Dave and/or rent someplace to stay will require out of pocket costs. Long term treatment will be 2-3 years to obtain remisson. So with our loss of income, increased medical expenses and transportation/rental expenses, your generous gift would be very much appreciated. We will be updating the Caring Bridge site often to share updates, so please consider following our journey to full remission there. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
