Patrick has a wife and 3 kids. He joined the U.S. Army after graduating from high school in 2002. He served in the Iraq war from January 2004-May 2005. He was injured during combat and was awarded a purple heart.
As many of you already know, since September 11, 2009, Patrick Kenney had been battling end stage renal disease, which results in almost complete kidney failure. Medical experts placed him on dialysis immediately at the age of 26 and recommended a kidney transplant which Patrick received from his Aunt Kathy on March 3, 2011. Though he has been doing fairly well he recently had a setback and his kidney has become enflamed causing him to have an unknown time of extended hospital stay.
Currently, Patrick is completing his medical evaluation at Baylor Dallas, Texas. However, due to the extraordinary expense of medical bills and just bills in general his family needs our help. To help defray such expenses, we have set up this fundraising campaign in Patrick’s honor. At times like this, the help of family, friends and the community is crucial to help ensure a successful outcome. Your financial gifts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
Warm regards,
