Hello Community, My name is Kierra and I am fundraising on the behalf of my mom, owner of Over the Rainbow Pediatric Urgent Care, in the hopes of keeping her dream alive! She pours her heart and soul into every creative detail of the business and I know it makes her so happy to do so! My mom inspires me more than she will ever know. She went back to school and became a respiratory therapist so she could help my special needs brother with his breathing issues. Opening Over the Rainbow brought so much joy to our family that it became my dream as well. A little over a year later my six-year-old brother took his last breath on earth and joined the angels. Incredibly my mother found the strength to keep Over the Rainbow open, finding peace in honoring his life and cherishing the vibrant memories made there! Like my mom, Over the Rainbow is unique and full of love. I have had the pleasure of working there for 2 years and it has been a truly amazing experience to be able to help so many children! It saddens me to witness the devastating financial effects of the pandemic. Somehow while struggling to pay her employees and falling behind on rent, she remains full of hope and determination. I am trying to help in any way I can. Unfortunately I’m on a college budget LOL but if we all come together we can make a difference!
