Hi, 

This is Brandon and Ellen Hembree, and we are reaching out on behalf of a truly incredible person: Mark Campbell and his family. 

Mark is a fighter, a friend, and someone who has spent years facing pain with resilience and grace. Over the last several years, Mark has undergone many joint surgeries, including a total shoulder replacement and a total knee replacement. Despite the physical toll, he has never lost his positive spirit and determination to keep moving forward. 

But now, the journey continues – and not in the way we hoped. Mark is in need of another total knee replacement due to severe deterioration, chronic pain, and limited mobility. This surgery, on June 30th, is essential for him to reduce his pain, and improve his quality of life.  

 Unfortunately, with surgery after surgery over the last ten years, the financial burden of medical bills can become overwhelming. Between previous surgeries, physical therapy, follow-up appointments, and medications, medical bills are only going to pile up. Insurance covers some of the expense, but certainly not all of it, leaving the Campbells to face thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses. (Mark shared with me, that over the last tens years, their family has paid upwards of $150,000 of out-of-pocket medical expenses.) 

We are humbly asking for your help to support and come alongside the Campbells during this season. Every donation – no matter the size – will go directly toward three things:  

• The upcoming knee replacement surgery
• Post-operative physical therapy    
• Uncovered medical bills from past procedures.
