Callanan's Kick Board

MIke Callanan coached soccer for 49 years.  He also coached track and skiing.  He was an integral part of Boys State in Vermont, among other things such as being a mentor to many.  29 of those years were coaching at Oxbow High School in Bradford, Vermont.   As a group of Oxbow alumni, we are raising money to build a kick board in honor of Coach Callanan. He also coached at St. Johnsbury Academy and Hanover High School.  Any money raised beyond the cost of the kick board will go toward raising the quality of the Oxbow soccer programs for the boys and girls.  This project means a lot to all of us involved, meaning quality and care will be put into it.

Finally, once the contruction of the kick board is done, the lumber will be allowed to dry so that we can paint it in the Oxbow purple and white.  It will have Oxbow written on it as well as Coach Callanans name and the dates he coached at Oxbow.  We intend to have a plaque on the back side of the kick board with more description in the honoring of Coach Callanan.  WE WILL BE THANKFUL FOR ANY DONATION YOU MAKE.  We are hoping to start the construction this month ( August 2016 ), so please donate soon.
