Sharon and I are starting this Go Fund Me account for her LGBT sister and my little cousin  Maan Vergara, who had an unfortunate motorcycle accident in the Philippines in late July 2016 and lost her leg.

 

Maan is a very good sister who loves her family, especially her little nieces and nephews and cousins.  She loves playing basketball and her team even won the championship. Maan has an incredible and generous heart, and she is always willing to help others in their time of need, and now, Maan needs our help.

 

Maan needs a transfemoral prosthesis, which is an artificial limb that replaces a leg missing above the knee. Transfemoral amputees can have a very difficult time regaining normal movement, and she desperately needs an above knee prosthetic leg, which will help her regain mobility and allow her to go back to college next year.  Transfemoral prosthesis are very expensive, and our family would be greatly appreciative of any donations to help Maan MOVE FORWARD with her recovery.
