Hello Ladies! Many of you already know me, but let me reintroduce myself. My name is Jeffrey Donald Hughes. I was born and raised in Chicago. I have been in the salon industry my whole life, and began my own career as a hair stylist 15 years ago. It is safe to say that being a hair stylist is the most rewarding career. I love every aspect of it from the friendly conversations I have with my clients, to the transformations I get to perform on a daily basis whether small or large. Knowing that I made a positive change in ones life by making them feel beautiful gives me the utmost and ultimate gratification!
In September of 2013, I treated myself on a trip to San Francisco to celebrate my 30th birthday. My first night there my life was taken before my eyes. Four days later I woke up in the ICU and was told I had fallen 4 stories out of a window. Shocked and confused as to how and why this had happened, the doctors had no answers but only to say it was a miracle that I was alive and that I was not paralyzed or brain dead. To this day I have not figured out why god would let this happen to a selfless young man that was always giving his all to everyone.
This accident has impacted my decisions and goals in life. My goal is to open and own my own salon. A salon where there is unforgettable customer service from the moment you walk in the doors until the moment you leave. A salon focused on education. A salon where I can give my staff ways to grow personally and professionally. I am grateful for my life and and my career and that I am still able to do my craft for which I live for and love so much! I am also happy that the clientele, both women and men, will be able to feel 100% confident in how they impact the world due to my gauging what they need for that time of their lives. I cannot express enough how serious I am about my career and livelihood, which wouldn't exist without each and every one of you in it! We all need each other to keep this world a well working and better place. Thank you for visiting my page!
