Lorraine Archer MS treatment in OH
On April 21, 2016, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). After 4 MRI's and a spinal tap, the diagnosis was confirmed. My first reaction was, "No, this cannot be true". I remember the first time I had heard about MS, I was 15. I was told that most people are usually diagnosed between the ages of 15 and 36. Years later when I reached the age of 36 I figured I was safe since I had made it without being diagnosed and that I would never get MS. On April 7th I was not able to move my right foot the way I needed to. After visiting with my chiropractor he recommended I visit with a neurologist. I knew right then, remembering that day when I was a young 15 year old, what the reality could be, but prayed for a different outcome. I decided to search for whatever treatment which would not include medication. Through some research, I came across Dr Paolo Zamboni in Italy who had found that the brain of an MS victim contains a higher than normal concentration of iron. If the arteries in the neck have blockage, it is called CCSVI, a condition that does not allow the excess iron to exit the brain. Dr. Zamboni has been performing angioplasty on the neck of people with MS and found that this procedure resulted in a significant relief of the MS symptoms. Luckily, I found a clinic in Dayton Ohio which is currently performing this procedure and I would love to go and get this procedure done. Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover the cost for this procedure which has a total cost of $15,000. This amount will cover the procedure and the additional expenses for travel.
