Conner Vollmer is a 16 yr old student at Kenmore West High School. He was recently diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome which is a rare disease that causes bone marrow failure then ultimately progresses into  acute Myelodys Leukemia . Conner is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant at the Cleveland Clinic in July of 2016 .  Conner will undergo two weeks of chemotherapy followed right away by the transplant and then have to stay for three months in isolation.  His younger brother Nolan , 13 years old thankfully was a match and will be the donor. My wife Jennifer is going to take a four month leave of absence from her job to stay there full time while I will drive the two hundred miles each weekend  allowing me to keep my job and take care of our three other children.
