It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Like you all I am searching for answers on how this can happen to someone so young and strong. I have known Jesse for over 20 years. I watched him climb from rec/D to A. He was a talent but more than that he was a great friend. He always had my back and was willing to help. But that was how Jesse was if you needed something he was there. He loved his family, and he loved his ball. As I try to rationalize it, I just become more frustrated and angrier. Being a little older than most of you I have lost so many friends over the years. The one thing that remains constant is the feeling of emptiness and wanting or needing to do something. With that feeling in my heart I am going to start a go fund me to help the family with the cost of a service/funeral at this time the last worry the family should have is worrying about finances. Let’s show Jesse that we have his back like he always had ours and help his family through this tough time as I know he would have done for us.
