Who is Donald Grant? For me, he's my father, my mentor and my friend. For others, he's a man that greatly cared for others and was always willing to give and share selflessly. He is affectionately known as "Danny Champagne"
Danny touched the heart of almost every person he came in contact with. He was naturally a giver always helping and being there for those who needed him.
Late May 2013, Danny's health took a turn for the worst. He suffered a stroke and was unable to move his left side leaving him incapable of working or moving around. After numerous sessions of physiotherapy he's still unable to walk or use his left side to date.
Between then and now, he has also suffered from seizures, pneumonia and cataracts and has had a number of admissions into the hospital.
My father is a fighter but we can't fight this fight without help. His medications, general care, physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and hospital visits all add up to much more than we are able to afford. Due to this, we are stuck struggling to make ends meet to give him all the care he needs.
Please help us to help him get the care he deserves. (THE TARGET FIGURE IS TO COVER MEDICAL CARE FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS)
