Donation protected
Kenny On August 22nd Kenneth Lymber was walking to his job at StopnShop . While he was crossing Veterans Highway suddenly he was struck by a speeding SUV. He was hurled with great force into the air knocking his sneakers off his feet a distance from his body. The accident is still under investigation with the Suffolk County Police. Kenny sustained traumatic head injury and multiple fractures and injuries to his leg ,arm ,spine and lung. The doctor said “ It is a miracle he survived.” Kenny has been a volunteer with the lighthouse Mission since he was six years old. The lighthouse Mission is the largest food mobile ministry on Long Island. It ministers to the needs of hundreds of men women and children in our community. Kenny would accompany his siblings and his mom Barbara Lymber , ( A foster parent for 33 years and a lighthouse Mission volunteer for 14 years, until her diagnosis of breast cancer) each week as his family would help give out food at the outreaches. Kenny along with his older brother, Anthony, would volunteer on Saturdays at the Lighthouse Mission Kids Club. Please pray for Kenny’s future recovery so that he may resume his family’s legacy of ministry with the Lighthouse Mission . Thank you in advance for praying for Kenny in his time of need, as he has given so much for so many years and to so many people in our society. God bless you :)
