- On Wednesday, September 24, our beloved David Haub suffered a respiratory arrest that lead to cardiac arrest, and the world lost a kind and gentle soul. Our family, friends, and neighbors in his community are devastated and grieving this tragic loss.
David’s passing has left a huge hole in our hearts, but he left us with many precious memories. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who lived life to the fullest every day. His grandsons were his life. David never knew a stranger – anyone who met him made an instant friend. Many will miss his warmth and generous spirit. David had a passion for photography, and through his lens he shared with us his love of nature, people, and animals (many looked forward to seeing his photos of coyotes at Griffith Park and beautiful sunsets). He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures.
David leaves behind a loving family, daughter Brandie, son-in-law Gret, and grandsons Garrett, Gavin, and Grant.
We have started this to help relieve the financial burden on his family during this very difficult time. Any help and support will be directed towards his medical bills, memorial service, and funeral expenses.
May he rest in peace.
