Mario Chacon's Funeral

Dear family and friends,
My family and I are not ones to talk about our problems or pain with others. With that said, many of you didn't know the battle my brother fought to beat this evil we know as cancer. I share his story for his memory, for the ones that knew and loved him and for everyone to take something out of it...life is precious.
My older brother, Mario Chacon (35 yr), was diagnosed with THE rarest form of cancer in November of 2014; only person in the world known to have this type of cancer. He underwent an emergency open heart surgery at that time to remove the large tumor that formed in his heart. Even after chemo treatments, in April of this year, the tumor returned to the same spot; a 2nd open heart surgery was performed.
In August, we come to find out the cancer spread to his brain; he underwent brain surgery.
Beginning September, the cancer had returned to his heart for a third time. Unfortunately, he didn't beat it this time. :(
The fight he fought, though it was very painful to see, was also very inspiring. He wanted to get better so bad, he fought and fought. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. As many of you know him for his laughter, that was him, pure happiness. He taught me to appreciate every single little thing about life. We love and miss you so much Junior!
My family was Fortunately blessed with more love than money. My parents felt they had no choice but to cremate my brother even though they knew they didn't want to go that route. I'm not one to ask for anything from anyone, truly. This fund is being set up to help my parents dismiss my brother in the way they would like. Also for those of you that have already asked for a place to donate.
My love and blessings to you all. Appreciate the litte things in life, one day you'll come to find they were the most important.

(Mario/Junior's sister)
