Right up front I’m just going to say it, I need your support. This September I have the opportunity to spend the year in the UK working with an organization called XLP. I’ll be receiving theology and leadership courses while also running after school and community programs in deprived inner city boroughs. At the end of the XLP ”gap year experience” I’ll also be participating in a mission trip to Ghana.
This line of work has been a passion of mine since my first mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico back when I was in 6th grade. Less than a week ago my work visa to the UK was finally accepted and now the last step is for me to save up enough money to turn this into a reality. I really was hoping that I’d be able to raise the funds on my own but with September not far away it’s come to a point that I now know I can’t do it on my own.
If you’re willing and able to help support me literally every dollar helps. So if you can give even that it would honestly mean so much to me. If you're unable to give but still would like to support me please just pray for my needs and safe travels. I've attatched a video giving you an idea of what I'll be doing in Ghana and I'll provide a link to further explain the XLP Gap year experience and what the funds will be used for.
I'm currently working full time and picking up as many shifts as possible. (Aside from rent and other bills) The funds I'm receiving through my job are all being put towards this goal! I've saved a substantial amount but still am in need of assistance!
