24 Lock in at the sanctuary

The vet bills at Ty Nant are currently averaging £3200 a month. We currently have 52 cats and kittens at Ty Nant and another 50 in foster.

As you know we tend to take the ones that are out on the street that desperately need our help, but they often come with issues, war wounds and needs, that are not cheap to treat.

We will always do all we can for them. This year with the rise in everything from vet bills, food and litter to meds, cleaning supplies and PPE we are finding it tough going.

Our volunteers are looking at all options to raise money and our latest idea is spending 24 hours locked in a room at the sanctuary. Not only will we experience what it's like to be one of our cats at the sanctuary, but we will only be allowed out for toilet breaks.

We will start the challenge at 7:30 am and finish the following day at 7:30 am. We know this may sound like heaven to some of you, but with many cats come many litter trays.
