24 Hour Walking Challenge for Cancer Research

Donation protected

I recently set myself a challenge: to walk as far as I possibly could in 24 hours.

At the start, it sounded simple. Just keep moving. One foot in front of the other. But as the hours went on, it became something much bigger than just a physical challenge. It turned into a test of mindset, resilience, and purpose.

Because this wasn’t just about seeing how far I could go.

It was personal.

Over the past few years, both of my grandparents have faced cancer and come out the other side. Watching people you love go through something like that changes your perspective. It makes you realise how important time is, and how much the little moments matter.

The truth is, they are still here today because of the research, the treatments, and the incredible work that’s been done to fight this disease. That isn’t something I take for granted.

So every step I took during those 24 hours was for them.
Through the tiredness, the aches, and the moments where stopping would have been easier, I kept thinking about how lucky I am to still have them in my life.

And that’s why I’m raising money.

If you’re able to support cancer research, any donation, no matter how big or small, genuinely makes a difference. It helps fund the treatments, breakthroughs, and care that give families more time together.

I also filmed the entire challenge on YouTube if you’d like to see what it really took, the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any support you can give. It truly means a lot.
