Faith is a kind, strong, and much-loved former member of the Retford Leisure Centre family — and right now, she needs us.

Faith is currently awaiting her second stem cell transplant, facing one of the toughest battles imaginable with the same incredible strength and grace she’s always shown. She has even been documenting her journey along the way — a true testament to her spirit.

By her side every single day are her mum Joanne and dad Paul, pouring their hearts into being there for their daughter. Her brother Seth is pushing forward with his university degree, carrying his own quiet strength. But the reality of being a family in this situation is relentless — daily hospital travel, time away from work, missed moments, and the financial and emotional weight that never really lets up.

That’s where you come in.

Every penny donated goes directly to the Hinitt family to help ease that pressure — whether it’s fuel for hospital runs, meals, bills, or simply having a little breathing room. And when Faith is feeling better, we’d love for this to give them something truly wonderful to look forward to: a holiday together, a chance to rest, reconnect, and celebrate as a family.

At Retford Leisure Centre, we’re taking on a 24-hour Swimathon in Faith’s honour — because if she can fight this hard, the least we can do is swim through the night.
