24 hour ‘shift’ in aid of MacMillan x APM

Hello everyone! As many of you have seen and know we do love to do a charity fundraiser a year to give back! This year however will be just a little different as this year we will be fundraising for not 1 but 2 charities and splitting the amount equally! These charities are Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis and MacMillan Cancer Support with each charity having a very personal impact to Lorina and Lennox…

The Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APM) is based around giving information and support to patients and family/friends or carers suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. This is an illness which is defined in short hand as ‘a lung disease that causes scarring in the lungs, making it difficult to breathe.’ I’ve chosen to fundraise for this charity as it hit my family last year and ended up with the sudden loss of my amazing Nana Marion Elliott who we miss very dearly. By raising this money I hope to support the charity in their research against this awful illness aswell as help them support people going through what our family did. Love you Nana

I'm donating money to the macmillan nurses as they helped me and my family through the most difficult time of our lives, losing both my parents. Their support with palliative care and information during scary and unknown times was incredible and helped us understand what was to come and guide us through step by step.

By raising money I want to give back and help other families who are currently going through what my family went through and with the help of macmillan nurses made that tragic time in mv life that sliahtlv bit easier.

As the poster shows we will be hosting a 24 hour ‘shift’ meaning when the clock strikes 6pm on the 9th of June we can’t leave until 6pm on the 10th! The lead up we will have football cards, wristbands, pens, badges for both charities! Aswell as this as of today any tips we make will be put straight into the donations box!
