24 hour cycle in aid of Hannah Leonard
Donation protected
On October 6th, while out on a training run, in Sicily for the upcoming Dublin marathon, Hannah was struck by a car where she sustained severe, life changing brain injuries.
Hannah under went life-saving surgery in Sicily along with multiple additional surgeries. Since then, it’s been a long and difficult road. Hannah spent months in intensive care. In January 2025, she was flown home to Ireland by air ambulance and is now continuing her recovery in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
Hannah’s determination and perseverance to get better has been nothing short of incredible. Slowly Hannah is making progress where last week she could support her own head in her chair.
The costs of emergency treatment abroad, air ambulance, ongoing hospital care and the unknown of long term rehabilitation is a massive financial burden on Hannah’s family. Any contribution, no matter the size will make a positive impact into Hannah’s recovery and medical expenses.
To support Hannah, I along with three others will be cycling 24 hours in Mondello Park on June 21/22 from 12pm - 12pm.
Thank you for being apart of Hannah’s journey.
