Sallins GAA & Friends from the wider community are cycling for 24 hours on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th September to raise funds towards Eoghan's upcoming trip abroad to receive Proton Therapy following his recent operation to remove a Craniopharynoma (brain tumour).
This brave young boy has already faced more than most of us could imagine, and now he’s preparing for the next stage in his fight — a course of treatment that will help give him the best possible chance at a full recovery.
Eoghan is a kind, funny, and resilient child who lights up every room he's in. Eoghan began his GAA career with the U6 age group and is now an important and integral member of the U9 Football team.
The Sallins community is pulling together to make this happen. Over 50 cyclists will take part during the 24 hours and our focus is to raise as much funds as possible to support Eoghan and his family on this next stage of his treatment.
The cycle will be on two stationary bikes which will be positioned around the village over the course of the 24 hours.
Thank you so much for reading and for supporting Eoghan in whatever way you can. Your generosity truly means the world.
