We are completing a 24 hour challenge to climb stairs to the height of Mt Everest (8,849m). This is 50,000 stairs

This is a sponsored challenge to help raise money for the hut we call home, our Base Camp, 2nd Nene Scout HQ located near Nene Academy.

We use this for our meetings, weekend camps, events and even parties, but it needs some much needed TLC to replace rotting doors and help keep the building warm and dry, safe and secure for ourselves and for future generations

The climbing is being done by Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, all aged 11-18.

We will also be camping overnight - we are Scouts after all
