Hi everyone,
My name is Neil Sturrock, and on Friday 1st May me and my mate Sean Thomson will be taking on a huge challenge at Dumfries Sports Club:
24 games of racketball against 24 different people… in just 24 hours!
Why?
Because three charities close to our community—and to many hearts—need our support:
Prostate Buddies
Supporting men affected by prostate cancer and raising awareness for early detection.
SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society)
Providing vital support for families facing the heartbreak of baby loss.
Charlie Watson’s Cancer Fundraiser
Helping an inspirational local cause supporting families affected by cancer.
My Goal
Through this challenge, I’m hoping to raise as much as possible to help these charities continue their amazing work. Every pound donated will be split to support all three causes.
Why This Challenge?
Racketball has been a huge part of my life, and I wanted to use it as a way to push myself physically, mentally, and emotionally—while bringing people together for something meaningful.
24 games in 24 hours is going to be tough, but nothing compared to what so many families and individuals face when dealing with cancer, prostate issues, or the loss of a child.
How You Can Help
Donate whatever you can—every amount counts.
Share this page with friends, family, and anyone who might want to support.
Come along on the day to cheer, spectate, or even take part in one of the 24 matches!
Your generosity will make a real difference.
Let’s rally together and turn this challenge into something extraordinary.
Thank you so much for your support.
