This is not a scam. My name is David Alston and my mother is Deaconess and Alpha Kappa Alpha Soror Lorraine S. Reynolds, unfortunately on October 7, 2023 my mother slipped and fell in her bathroom due to her complications from Covid and Rhabdomyolysis in which she was unaware she had. Lorraine was found by a neighbor two days after her fall on the bathroom floor in the house alone. She was taken to the hospital on October 9, 2023 to Sentara Norfolk General in Norfolk Virginia where she remained for 2 weeks until she was moved to a Rehabilitation Center.

While at the Rehabilitation Center she fell ill and incapacitated due to Sacral Decubitus Ulcer (which was diagnosed at Sentara as Stage 1 Ulcer) because of lack of Hygienic care it grew and escalated to Stage 4 Ulcer, currently that rehabilitation center in Chesapeake, VA will remain nameless. Since then she has been admitted to Kempsville Rehabilitation in Virginia Beach, VA, Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ and Teaneck Rehabilitation Center in Teaneck, NJ. Henceforth her health has not improved and has escalated to a state of Hospice Care.

On March 11 2025 tuesday Lorraine S Reynolds passed away at the residence of my ex-wife in Newark. We have accumulated over $50,000 in medical bills which entails the stays at rehabilitation centers.

Lorraine S Reynolds was born 09/17/1934 in Norfolk, Virginia where she was raised and later moved to Virginia Beach Virginia. She attended Virginia State College in 1952 and later received a bachelors degree in social work in 1975 and a masters degree in education from Norfolk State College in 1977. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority (Iota Omega chapter). She is also a Deaconess at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Norfolk Virginia.

I solemnly ask with kindness and appreciation for any Support and Assistance. This is an immense task that I was not prepared for and I ask for Help from anyone who is capable.
