Hello, 

My name is Steve Mendoza and I'm raising money for Sara Hedrick. Sara is a single parent and works as an in-home care giver in Nevada County. 

On May 6, 2016 Sara and her teenage son Owen were victims of a fire that completely destroyed their Camptonville home and all their belongings. It's a blessing that they suffered no physical injuries since they weren't present at the time of the fire. However, the psychological effect of losing literally everything they own, including family heirlooms, photos etc. is most devastating.  

Thankfully, Sara's family is there to offer near term support, but longer term they will need all the help they can get to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

Their needs are many.... from the basics of clothing and supplies to securing a new place to live.  The money raised here will go directly to fulfilling those needs, especially to securing a roof over their heads.

Sara is a proud mother, a hard worker and one of the most giving people I know. She has had more than her share of bad luck in life, and keeps on going with her head held high. Anyone who knows Sara will attest to this.

So this fire is an almost unbelievable turn of events. In typical fashion, Sara will muscle here way through it. I think she deserves a hand up, and I thank you sincerely for anything you can give to help Sara and Owen. Feel free to pass this on to anyone who might be in a position to help.
