Hello All,
I'm Tisha Barnes, I am Nasir Washington's Aunt. Nasir has just been diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma. It is one of the rarest forms of cancer worldwide. This type of cancer is known as a soft tissue sarcoma which develops in the muscles near the joints of the arm, neck or leg and attaches to the bones that prevent a part of the body to move. In Nasir's case it is his left leg, foot, and toes that are affected.
Nasir is a 16 year old young man, always smiling, with an infectious laugh. He loves football (N.O. Saints are his favorite) , basketball( LA Clippers) and baseball (ATL Braves). He likes watching Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Jamaal Crawford also. He loves, loves, loves to dance and make videos with his brother and friends. You can spot him on YouTube™ and Facebook™ probably doing the running man challenge among other popular dances. Besides being a great athlete, Nasir is a good student that takes pride in his school work.
We are raising money to help with his medical expenses. His mother, Desiree is a HARD working Mother of four handsome young men. Nasir has two older brothers, DeShaun, who is currently serving our country and Zyair is finishing up his paperwork to join the service. His younger brother, Mikai who is 14 and a huge help to his mother and brother, from helping around the home, to keeping them laughing. We know the reality that insurance, once approved will not cover everything, so it is up to us as family and friends to raise the money.
It would mean a great deal to our family if you could donate and help us keep Nasir, NAS STRONG!!! We are a God fearing family and will always keep the faith and continue to pray Nasir through his battle. Please also share this with your family and friends.
