Support Terry's Triple Transplant
Aloha,
We are humbly asking for any donations. My husband of 9 years and father of 3 boys has a genetic disorder known as Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. This disorder is terminally fatal. No cure is available only a transplant can fix this medical problem. He is in need of multiple transplants to live. This disorder normally requires a liver tranplant. Unfortunately due to this disorder his lungs are progressively being damaged and now he is on oxygen 24/7. Because of the lung damage caused by this disease he will need an emergency double lung transplant as soon as possible. If we are unable to get these transplants here in Hawaii we will move to the mainland to seek medical help. Moving expenses will be impossible to afford. He is currently on disability because he is unable to work at all. Unfortunately even with me working two jobs we are unable to make rent and basic utilities to keep our family from becoming homeless. We have three beautiful young boys that are going through this struggle with us. We have utilized many resources to keep afloat but we are sinking extremely fast financially. Once the transplant is scheduled we will not be able to pay our rent, utilities, etc. I will have to be home for possibly up to a year to be a nurse at his side 24/7 for him during his recovery process, which will be very difficult financially, mentally and emotionally stressful as well as a delicate medical recovery process. As you can imagine three new organs will be taxing on him mentally, physically and emotionally as well as for the children. We will need childcare assistance, medical assistance and financial assistance. Unfortunately most things in this world require money to survive. We are asking for any donations you can afford to keep our family afloat during this hard time. Terry is an amazing father, husband, friend, and man. He deserves nothing short of a miracle and our support in everyway. He remains active in the community through his motorcycles club the Aliis of Hawaii Statewide M/C, always eagar to help others and assisting in fundraisers throughout the state of Hawaii every year. He has taken in many homeless friends in need of help and has assisted them in getting clean, finding work and back on thier feet. I am hoping his karma from being such a kind, giving soul comes back around for him and I am reaching out to anyone and everyone, PLEASE HELP US!!!!
