Help for Brenda Brewer

On Tuesday Aug. 4th, Mom (Brenda Brewer) underwent a toe surgery. She developed an infection in the toe, and began antibiotics to eliminate the infection. However, she continued to feel worse. On Thursday, Aug. 6th Brenda felt so badly that she knew this was not a simple toe infection. She decided to get a test for covid. As she was awaiting the results,her condition deteriorated to the point that she knew she needed to go to the hospital. On Saturday, Aug. 8th Brenda was taken to Pella Hospital. There she was determined to have Covid-19 and was put on oxygen. On Friday Aug 14th the doctors determined that Brenda's oxygen levels were not staying stable enough. They decided to put her on a ventilator and transport her to Des Moines. Brenda is now fighting this terrible virus. We recognize that this is going to be a long journey for her, and she will not be able to work for quite some time. This campaign is to help cover the medical costs and other costs that arise while Brenda is unable to work. Brenda has touched so many lives in so many ways it has been so encouraging to hear from so many people in how she has blessed them. We hope that this campaign will help to remove part of the financial strain as Brenda fights to get better. Thank you for your support.
