Rodger Alexander was an integral member of the Bellingham community. As an orchestra teacher in Bellingham elementary, middle, and high schools for 31 years, Rodger personally taught over 5000 students how to play and appreciate music. Many of Rodgers students came from families that could not afford to provide their own instruments. Rodger, in his boundless generosity, personally made sure that each of his students had an instrument to play. "Rapid Rodger" was also known and loved far and wide in the HAM radio community. Rodger was a great dad and husband.
After a long struggle with his health Rodger left this world on September 6, 2016. Rodger's care during his last days on earth drained his families finances. Won't you please help spread some of this great man's generosity back to his family as they work to recover from their emotional and monetary loss? Thank you!
