Meet our new Director:
Daniel Knudsen is an American born director, actor, film producer, and artist. With stage acting beginning in elementary school, from a very young age Daniel knew he wanted to direct movies.
No stranger to film production, Daniel has actively worked in the industry for more than a decade. His film directing debut came with the political thriller Creed of Gold. Most recently, Daniel has worked as a producer and/or director on several Christian feature films including Indescribable, Unexpected Places, Christmas Grace, Courageous Love, The King’s Messengers, Christmas Coupon, SKY DOG, and Dinosaur Cove.
Executive Producer Christopher Glutting:
Chris Glutting is a new addition to the team. Hailing from Livonia Michigan and a Graduate of Churchill High School, Chris first fell in love with the arts actively participating in Churchill’s Stage Crew program and acting in many show’s. Chris took a break from the art’s for the first 9 years of his 13 year military career, falling in love with theater all over again while stationed in Baumholder Germany and becoming the local Army Community Theater Assistant Theater director. Upon his medical retirement from the military in 2014 Chris stayed active in the theater community, acting in several community theater shows across many theaters eventually becoming a board member at Barefoot Community Theater in Livonia. He also served several other functions at the theater including programming and running lights, building set’s, directing, programming and running sound, and serving the theater in several other roles. It was upon his departure from the military that Chris began to take an active interest in film as well, getting his associate of Arts degree from Schoolcraft Community College, he started his career in cinema, shooting educational videos for the University of Michigan’s Law program and moved on to fill roles as an extra in several movies.
As to who Chris is, he truly is an enigma wrapped in a puzzle shrouded in mystery. On Monday, you might find him rebuilding the engine on his motorcycle. Tuesday, running a D&D campaign as a Dungeon Master. Wednesday, Brewing beer from scratch. Thursday, Building a house. Friday, running karaoke at a nightclub. Saturday, kayaking. Sunday, writing a screenplay. He truly loves and lives life to the fullest and likes to dabble in a little bit of everything while being well learned in many other things.

Thanks to the support we've received so far, we completed the short film that serves as a prelude to our story and sets up the events for our main characters. The short film is available to watch here:
The Radiant Film Project is raising money to produce all media about our short and feature film fantasy story. All money raised will pay cast and crew, production and post-production costs including principal photography, locations, insurance, VFX, editing, scoring, marketing and distribution.
*UPDATE* The Radiant Film Project is excited to announce that the wonderfully talented ISABELLE ALMOYAN will play the role of PRINCESS NERIANA! She is a gifted actress and has impressed us with her ability to inhabit the character and bring a needed inner strength to the part. We are thrilled to be working with her and look forward to start filming our short "RADIANT: DAWNING" as our next step in production!

THE STORY: Out of the ruins of war the Kingdom of Zoran rose, formed by the last of the Lightkeepers as a bastion of hope and peace; a bulwark against the dark forces that once consumed the land—The Order of the Wolf. Born to a shepherd, Tristan has been raised on such stories, yet to his eyes the Kingdom is failing; the old ways have been abandoned, and the Lightkeepers have vanished. The princess Neriana is also deeply troubled; her father has grown increasingly isolated and disconnected from the affairs of the kingdom, and everywhere signs herald the return of dark times. Together Tristan and Neriana must take up the mantle of the Lightkeepers and solve the mystery of the foreign Prince Raif, who comes offering salvation—but at what cost? Destiny moves amidst the howling of wolves.
OUR STORY:
Having met in acting class Jared Withrow and Ryan Scott Lax formed an instant camaraderie with the desire to someday work together. You can visit both their IMDB pages below to review past credits** Ryans goal was to play an iconic villain while Jared always wanted to play the hero; this was the basis for the start of Radiant. Together with Jared’s lifelong friend Aaron Bailey, the main script was finally birthed!

THE TEAM:
Ben Despard, of Bent Sword Productions, came aboard early on in the process and supplied a wealth of art and wardrobe design and creation.
Ben also brought to the project Garrett Papow who has since been an integral part of the process behind the camera, with prop design and artistic ideas.
Another indispensable person to join the party is Brookelyn Shelby, who is both playing a pivotal character in the story and working as producer. She has lent both creative and administrative talents to Radiant and continues to be a dynamic source of productivity.
SUCCESS:
We are honored to say that the script for Radiant received an official best script nomination at the International Christian Film Festival for its allegorical message of Light overcoming Darkness. By building a team of like minded film enthusiast's, The Radiant Film Project took its first step.
We have been able to produce footage for our Proof of Concept, Prologue, and Concept Scene on a low /no budget and therefore we are asking for your careful consideration in making a contribution to this project today!
