Help Dancezone’s new studio

Hello everyone! I have started this page for our wonderful dance school, Dancezone Studios UK. Dancezone has been open in Manchester for the past 15 years, but sadly, at the start of the lockdown, the main premises which has been home to 1000’s of students for the last 13 years was damaged due to a fire in the building. Unfortunately, after many weeks Dancezone have been told that the space is irreparable and therefore no longer fit for use. After so much support via social media - Dancezone have now managed to find a dream space that really could be a forever home for our wonderful students. As we all know Dancezone isn’t just about going to learn to Dance it’s about family and being part of a dance community through dance we speak words we bring togetherness we love and support one another through various ways and want to continue the ethos. Something from the teachers... Going into this lockdown period, there was no preparation for a relocation......which means that although we have found the most amazing premises we could ever hope to find, there is a lot of work that needs to be done to make this space ready for our dancers. If we aren't able to complete the work that we need, it will mean that we will unable to reopen our doors. This page is being created in the hope that any funds raised can be used to get the priority pieces of work done that we will need to open such as installing a new and suitable flooring, fitting mirrors to enable our students to see and correct themselves and adding barres to start our technique classes as soon as possible. Once this is done, we can them move on to everything that will make this the wonderful space that it can be. We can then move onto adding in a sound system, creating a welcoming reception area and also purchasing equipment to help our students excel in acro lessons such as mats and tumble tracks etc Any donations would be received with so much appreciation it's not possible for us to put into words! This is not something we have done before and over the years we've been open we have fundraised in various ways, but with current social distancing guidelines, the safety of or students is the highest priority. This current pandemic has affected so many of us in so many different ways, we know that getting re-opened and being able to be a part of bringing some normality back into our students lives will go a long way We will keep you updated with any progress we make to getting Dancezone re-opened bigger and better than ever!
