Because the world is not the same without Jerry

For all those who know Jerry, he has a heart of gold. On so many occasions, he has helped people and animals from all walks of life. A musician by heart,and a wheeler dealer by profession,he has organized various events helping people who needed charity or who were simply down and out.He has saved animals who were in danger on the road and even helped a very slow turtle crossing the street an imminent death. After some serious tooth problem 2 months ago,it was discovered that he has an egg sized tumor in his right jaw. He is not a smoker nor has he chewed tobacco. Multiple scans revealed a malignant neoplasm of the right mandible. In lay man’s term, cancer of the mouth, Stage 4. A radical surgery is scheduled on Aug. 26,2020. It will be very intense and extensive , that will span 16 hours on the surgery table. They will remove the tumor, part of his jaw, and possibly, part of his tongue believed to be some metastasis. Afterwhich, facial reconstructive surgery will follow after getting a bone from his leg to divert to his missing jaw bone. He will be in and out of the hospital for 6 weeks. Will be in the ICU for a week with a tracheostomy. Granted that the surgery is successful, radiation and chemotherapy will be done in the oncoming months.Please help us cover Jerry’s medical bills not covered by our insurance. With COVID-19 making life harder, we also lost our ability to earn livelihood. Simply put, we are struggling, just like everyone else.
