Stem Cell Transplant

I was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia in 2014 and I did what I had to do. I thought I had beat it. But I recently learned that my Leukemia is back and my only option this time is to have a Stem Cell Transplant, which means to complete erase my own immune system and replace it with one that works. The unfortunate reality though is that this is not free.

Even with great insurance, a transplant is still very very expensive. And they may have complications, new medicines, physical therapy, any sort of added and unforseeable cost that could go uncovered and yet last for the rest of my life. And its these unexpected and uncovered costs that truly worry me.

My husband is the love of my life and our baby is only 3. I just want to be around for them. I want to have more cuddles, conversations, know my son's hopes and dreams, and see him become the strong and smart man I know he can be. I dont want my husband or my son to ever be in this life without me. I have to do the transplant. Its my only choice. But I need help.

I am terrible at asking for help. I dont want to beg or push or manipulate anyone. I just know that if you help me, in any amount or way, it will make a difference to me. I am grateful even for the time you're taking in reading this. I hope I can find some support for the very uncertain future.
