Hello Friends!
My name is Andrew Nguyen and I have been struggling with Duchens Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) for my whole life. I lost my ability to walk, move my arms and the ability to care for myself and now have to depend on others. As each day goes I become progressivly weaker and it becomes more difficult to breath on my own. I've always dreamed that one day I could receive treatment to cure my DMD to be able to live longer and give back to those who have cared for me.
I am excited to inform you guy that I have received wonderful news! A new treatment has become available for me to receive that will slow or stop my condition from getting any wore. It is a dream come true. But I must travel to Cincinnati, Ohio on June 4th 2016 to receive this treatment And the trip will last for a whole week with several test and treatment.
My family and I could use your help to be able to afford the trip to Cincinnati. We are thankful for any donations that will help with hotel, gas and food expenses. Any amount is fine we can use all the help we can get.
