Help Us Move Home

Hello Everyone, Lynette here. As all of my family and friends know, 4 years ago Mom (Bee) and I moved across country to Oregon so that our twin granddaughters, Ruby and Hazel, could get to know their Grandma and Great-Granny Bee. Without a doubt it has been 4 years of pure joy getting to be with these two precious little girls who are almost 6 now. We would not trade this experience for anything in the world. Unfortunately, the last year has brought some changes to Mom’s health that has made it necessary for us to make a change.
Mom is 83 now and had a lot of trouble staying well last year with one issue after another culminating with a total loss of mobility due to a knee that required replacement. She finally got well enough to have her knee replaced in March and she is recovering from that surgery now. All of this has lead us to make the decision that it is best if we move back home near family. Mom wants to be near my brothers, Hubie and Platt, and very much wants to spend some time with her two sisters, sister-in-laws, and her brother. As much as we hate to leave the grandgirls, I desperately need to be near family that can lend me support and help as Mom’s caretaker. It has been hard to care for her here in Oregon with no family close by to support me or lend a hand.
As you all can imagine, moving across the country is an expensive proposition and with great humility we are appealing to anyone who feels lead to help us out financially so that we can move home. Mom wants to relocate to South Carolina to be close to all of her family and it seems like the best choice for us. We will need finances to move all of our things home, plus get settled in a rental home when we arrive. What we are asking is for you to pray and believe with us for this to come about and if you can donate anything please know that we will receive it with grateful hearts thanking the Lord for your generosity.
All of my love to you all,
Lynette
