Lia's Famine to Save Wolves

Hello!
My name is Lia Chalmers. I am a 13 year old student in New Zealand. I'm a passionate advocate for wolves in and around my community, and wish to become a conservationist when I'm older.
Unfortunately, species such as the Mexican Grey Wolf are veering towards extinction. In 1988, the Mexican Grey wolves nearly went extinct, with their numbers dwindling down to just 7 wolves rescued from the wild. Conservation efforts began to bring this species back from near-extinction. Although these wolves numbers are growing, it is up to us as humans to make sure these beautiful creatures are around for generations to come.
In June, I will be doing a 40 hour famine. In this famine, I will go 20 hours without food, not 40 for safety reasons, and 40 hours without talking.
The reason for this is because humans often hunt wolves prey, animals such as elk, deer and rabbits. Because of this, a wolf could go days without eating. The reason I won't be talking is because animals in the wild don't have a voice to speak up with, so I'm going 40 hours without talking to see what that's like.
All money raised will go to the Wolf Conservation Centre, a non-profit organisation set on helping endangered wolf species, such as the Mexican Grey Wolves, to get back on their feet.
Wolves really mean a lot to me, and I couldn't stand to see them become extinct on our watch. Any donations recieved, whether they're $5 or $100, will be greatly appreciated, and are sure to go towards making a difference in the world. I will be so thankful for anything you wish to give to help save the wolves.
