Kaylee's CRPS Fight
Donation protected
My cousin Kaylee has been fighting a condition known as Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome for nine years. During this time, she and her family have been under tremendous amounts of pain and stress trying to get her healthy again. Today, doctors are more knowledgeable about CRPS, but medical professionals have not found a cure. CRPS causes pain and discoloring in Kaylee’s limbs, but paralyzed her bladder, stomach, and most recently, her diaphragm and right lung. Currently, doctors are trying to manage her symptoms, but ALL of her doctors are baffled at what is going on in her body. She and her family are scared what organ will be effected next. They feel like there is a clock ticking and no one has an answer. Until now…….
Nine years ago, Dr. Tachdjian diagnosed Kaylee while working at the UCLA Pediatric Pain Program. When no other doctor could figure out her condition, he did. Kaylee reached out to him recently and they talked about the effects this horrible disease on her body. He asked her to come in to his office in Santa Monica on May 25, 2016 for some tests because he had some ideas.
Unfortunately, Dr Tachdjian doesn’t work with Kaiser Insurance. Therefore, any tests or procedures performed will be out of pocket expenses. Her family is already struggling with the costs of medication, co-pays, and equipment Kaylee needs regularly. This is where we can help.
Please try and make a donation and share this page with your friends and family. Kaylee will be able to get the care she needs with your donation. All donations will go towards Kaylee's medical bills and treatment. We can make a huge difference in the lives of a family that deserves it! In addition, Kaylee and her family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, prayer and support. They appreciate it more than you know.
Kaylee has a long way to go, but she is ready and determined! After so many years of pain and uncertainty, Dr. Tachdjian has lit a fire in her and she has a new outlook on life! Her hope is back!
