Road To My Degree - My Finish Line

Hello everyone, my name is Michelle and I need your help please.  I know we all have experienced a rough year and it's been an eye opener for us all.

Anyone who knows me knows I am not one to ask for help but I need all of your support so I can make it to the finish school and earning my degree which has been almost ten years in the making and a life long dream of mine

I am in the process of finishing up my last two semesters of college.  All of my funding has run out, there are no contributions from scholarships or grants that I have applied for.

This has been a long process for me, having to quit school the end of 2012 to care for my father for a second time (and would do it all over again) in California, he passed away in early 2013.  After moving back to Pittsburgh in 2015 to close my Aunt's estate, I was diagnosed in 2016 with stage 2 breast cancer,  I went through four surgeries in a period of three years to remove and to reconstruct my breasts.

The reconstruction in 2018 is the cause of me having to push back completing college to 2021 as opposed to being done this semester. My incision in my abdomen came completely open from right to left, with right side all the way open, down into my stomach. I had to take a medical leave that semester so the doctors and I could focus on getting the incision closed back up. That process took four months, it took a toll on my finances, it was tiring, trying, and frustrating, but it finally closed and am healing. I am so thankful to still be here.

This has been a journey and then some! My faith has truly been tested and there were many times that I just wanted to throw in the towel, but somehow God always shows me that He has not forsaken me. All I can say is BUT GOD!!!! I KNOW it will be alright, it has to be.
