Hi everyone. After a few people have asked how they can help, I am taking their advice and starting a Go Fund Me page for my daughter, Stephanie Gay and her 4year-old son, Jax. Several nights ago a fire broke out in a ground floor apartment in her building. Living on the third floor, she only had time to grab Jax out of the bathtub, wrap a towel around him and escape with only the pj’s she was wearing. They lost everything including Jax’s backpack full of Disney Cars...his prized possession. He has Autism and spends many hours lining up his cars on the floor. All of their clothes and furniture was lost. The following day she was informed the retail store she helped manage (Banana Republic) which has been closed because of the lockdown, will not reopen. She lost her job. They are staying with me but I can’t help her financially with a fixed-income. Anything you can do to help her family get back on her feet would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
