It is with heavy heart that we post the death of our brother Mark Later.
Mark Hall Later, age 62, died on August 7th, 2020 in Murray Utah at St. Marks Hospital.
He was born fourth in a family of eight children in Seattle Washington to Ronald and Louise Later and as a young child moved to Alaska with his family. As a young teenager, he moved again with his family to Meridian, Idaho. At age 20 he served a two-year mission in Sacramento, California.
Mark attended Boise State University to study law enforcement and worked at Idaho State and Nashville Prison and correctional facilities. He transitioned to private security work and later he “drove truck”, coaches, buses and horse drawn carriages. Later, he was certified as a CNA and worked for a retirement home, The Wentworth at Coventry, and made house visits to numerous people with high care needs. He was an avid outdoorsman in his younger years and enjoyed hunting with his family, fishing, skiing, golfing, and scuba diving. He had an affinity for horses and always saw himself in a classic western, living on the frontier.
Mark graced the funny bone of everyone he met and believed that if he could put a smile on at least one person’s face it was a good day. He was a loving husband to his wife Cindy and father his three children. It did not matter how hard things got he always provided for his family the best he could. He is survived by his parents Ronald Dillon, and Louise Hall Later, Wife Cindy (Christiansen) Later, and his children Tiffanie Marie Later, Clinton John Later(Sandy), Mark Andrew Later, his siblings Doug Later(Becky), Kevin Later(Louise), Loren Later(Elisa), Ann Campbell(Dan), Kristen Duke(Richard), Sharon Taylor, and Peter Later(Charlotte), and his 7 grandchildren.
Due to circumstances, The Burden of the cost of the funeral has fallen directly on his little family.
So many wonderful FAMILY and FRIENDS have asked what they can do to help Marks Wife, Cindy.
Thank you for asking!
In lieu of flowers for Cindy Later and her family, Contributions to help with burial and Funeral costs would be such a blessing!
We are so GRATEFUL for anything you feel you want to contribute.
THANK YOU!
Love, the Later Family.
