DeNita “Nae” Davis Memorial Fund

It brings me great pain to have to inform everyone that my sister DeNita Davis has passed away. On August 09, 2020 God called for her to join him in his kingdom.
Not everyone was lucky enough to have the honor of meeting or experiencing who Denita was. DeNita’s ambitious pursuit of good was always something to admire. DeNita was like a quite and well mannered beckon of hope and love to so many people. She was selfless and always considered others before herself even in her darkest hours and the last minutes of her life. She had a sixth sense when it came to her friends and family members in need. There honestly was no reason to lie and tell Denita that you where doing good because she already knew something was wrong even if she was thousands of miles away from you.
Though she was concerned with everyone’s well being she hated talking about hers and putting any pressure on anyone else. Denita had been battling several different medical issues and had recently been diagnosed with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Though she was past the worst stages and beating her battle she stayed concerned with the well being of her close family. We are still unsure of the cause of death at this moment but we are focusing on celebrating her life and family. She leaves behind 1 brother, 1 sister 1 niece and 1 very close aunt (Demarkus “Alexie” Davis, Deja Davis, Gianna Davis, Charlene Brooks) and 2 very close friends (Shonteria Glass and Alexis Hoosier). Through her long battle with health issues Denita had not only learned self love and compassion but how to teach each others to do so. Denita would want for all of us to raise awareness not only to the issue of COVID-19 but to all of self health both physically and mentally.
All monies raised will be used to assist in helping with cremation, funeral expenses and COVID-19 cleaning of her living areas.
If you may have any questions please feel free to reach out via social media. Thank you all so much for the help you will be providing to put my lovely sister to rest as she joins her mother and father behind the pearly gates.
I was just in formed that Denita passed away due to a blood clot. It is very unfortunate because for months we have been telling the doctors we believed she had a blood clot. Please pray for us.
