Unfortunately my dad passed away August 10th. My dad was having difficulties in breathing around July 9. My dad has had breathing problems awhile back which made things worse. My dad was taken to the hospital on July 10th, and was tested positive for Covid-19. He was close to coming home after being there for a week, but unfortunately instead of taking a step forward , things took a step back. He was in need of a lot of oxygen . My dad tried his hardest to fight this virus but didn’t make it. He had to be Intubated and there was only a 50% chance of him coming out . Tragically my fathers heart stopped beating Sunday morning but brought him back to life . He was suffering a lot and his doctor called us to make a choice whether we let our dad go by suffering or disconnect him from the oxygen machine and tubes and let his body do what it has to do. We didn’t want my dad suffering anymore they told us there was a 0% chance of surviving so we had to let him go. We were lucky enough to say our goodbyes to him from outside his room. May he rest in Paradise .. Gone but never forgotten I know my dad will be missed by everyone . He was a hard working man and provided everything he could for our family. My dad taught us good moral and from a early age taught us about God. We have faith and know God has a plan for us. My dads last wish was to get buried in his hometown Huajuapan de León Oaxaca. He said he wanted “ que lo reciba y abrace su tierra Oaxaqueña “ He wants to be buried next to my brother Alejandro who passed away 26 years ago in Mexico. And as some of you know my 32 year old brother also passed away July 21st and will be buried next to my dad as well. Thank you to those who helped as well.
