Bring Goose Home-Our Future Service Dog
Donation protected
We have had a wonderful, but unexpected, opportunity present itself.
Almost exactly to the date, one year ago, that we had realized that we had been scammed on our Lab puppy, Goose, something we couldn’t even fathom has been offered to us.
Another Goose.
Who has been spending the last year getting ready to be a service dog, has become unexpectedly available. It is a sad loss for a very sweet family.
It is a sudden but completely aligned blessing for us.
In 2018, when we started the planning of bringing home a new pup, it was with the intention of having him become a service dog, for our family’s unique disabilities. We paid for him to stay until he was 4 months old for the beginning training.
That all vanished.
Then one month later, we took in puppy Kyron and had the ride of our lives. The next 9 months we loved him fully and accompanied him over the rainbow bridge on June 1st. Those months were completely full of love & adaptation.
Goose-George, as we are calling him, has had his first year of training. He can interact was nearly anyone, he is a relaxed, sweet, mellow and focused guy.
He has spent time in court rooms being a comfort to children. His trainer said “Goose, has soooo much to give. It can be deeply to a few people, like your family, or he could be trained for giving hours & hours with a healthcare, rehabilitation or justice organization.”
If a placement change was going to happen, this is a perfect time in his development & his training.
When we heard his name was Goose, every single one of us, was sooo stunned.
We laughed, cried and realized it was the most bizarre & Divine way, for us to get back on track with our original plans.
One of our daughters said something that helps me make sense of all of the events of the past year.
When the darkness & grief over losing puppy Goose, happened, Ky took us into a pocket of time (I wish you could see how she moved her hands) and we got to experience something extraordinary and healing. For him & us, including our now, 10 year old Yellow Lab, Tate. And now, Goose-George, is helping us back into “alignment” of time & space.
And as our other daughter stated, we have always been a Harry Potter family & Ky was the ultimate dog & experience for us. It feels like he has lead us right to this gift.
We are blessed to be first in line for him to come home to us. There are 35 folks behind us. We need some help raising the funds before the deadline of this Friday.
We ask for your support, with the fullest of hearts, if you would consider making a donation, to helping us bring Goose home.
Thank you so much.
With deep gratitude & love,
Tammy, Ted, Ally, Ella, Tate & Goose-George & Ky
